COMCAST SUCKS
Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 7:48PM So here is my blog about COMSUCK! I am going to detail all of my positive experiences with this company first.
OK and now all the crap that I have had to deal with! And this is edited, trust me!
- In 2002 a Comcast service tech told me that the reason I got a terrible picture was because I had a center speaker above my TV. I was told to move it and the picture would clear up. He left without doing anything. 1 day off work
- After I moved the center speaker the picture was still the same. This time the tech said it was because I live in an apartment complex. 1 day off work
- 2003 (This is the good one) I was told that my apt complex now had high speed internet. I was sold the product and the installer came to HOOK ME UP! After 2 hours he could not get it working and said that there must be an outage and would have to come back. 1 day off work
- One week later the tech came back and still no dice! Was told the modem was bad and he did not have any more in the truck. Would have to come back. 1 day off work
- One week and a new tech with a new modem. Can you guess what the outcome was? Still no high speed internet. I was told an outside line supervisor would have to come out. 1 day off work.
- 2 days later the outside guy is coming.. NOW THIS WILL WORK FOR SURE. I waited all day (or 12 to 4) and at 5 PM nobody showed! I call and the dummy on the phone tells me that location is unserviceable. REALLY! NO CALL, NO Hey we messed up! Instead I have to drive to return the modem I had for a month. 1 day off work
- A bill comes for the high speed internet that never was hooked up and canceled. Guess who has to call and argue that this NEVER WORKED.
- In 2007 I ordered COMSUCK for my house and waited from 12 – 4 and at 5 I gave up because the tech never showed! 1 day off work
- In 2008 my mom who has COMSUCK lost her internet. It took them 1 week to determine it was a line issue outside.
- In 2008 I had to have high speed internet and HD TV. I ordered COMSUCK again. This time my appt was from 8 – 11AM. At 11:30 nobody and no phone call! I called and they told me the tech was running late. (Why can’t someone call me?) He shows at 1:30 and it takes him until 3:30 to hook me up. 1 day off work
- 2009 my Mom’s internet is out again! This time they tell her it is because they had a filter on the line and when they made the speed upgrade this caused her internet not to work. It took them 3 days to find this out!
- May 2009. All my services go out for no reason. I can’t get anyone out here to look at it for 3 days! NO TV, NO PHONE, NO INTERNET! A tech comes out to fix the issue. AGAIN NOT IN THE HOUSE, but have to take the day off AGAIN!!!! 1 day off work
- Last night again with another random outage which happens at least once every 2 weeks. This time I call and get hung up on again. This happens all the time when you call. They don’t know how to put you on hold or transfer a call without you getting hung up on. This outage lasted an hour which I think was a record.
In 7 years I have lost 9 days of work due to this company. The issue was never in my house, yet always outside, or the fact that these idiot’s sold a product that was not available!
So why do I keep giving $150 + a month to this crappy company? They are the only game in town to offer what I need when it comes to internet speed! It’s not fair that they treat us like this! They don’t care about you! You are just one customer and you won’t cancel because if you do you are S.O.L.!
Please comment on your cable provider hell. I like to hear what others go through!

I will update this post every time I have COMCAST issues.
COMSUCK down again today. This time some issue at the node! It's been down for another 2 hours! COMCAST SUCKS!

Ive gotten this comcast suckness before jimmy.! Comsuck boots me out of my internet hour or so.! Its ridiculous!
